Overview

Pro Sidian Seeks a Multimedia Communications Specialist [DOE
0059058] for Program Support on a Contract Contingent basis (W-2, exempt; no overtime) generally located across the CONUS with emphasis in Richland, Washington. Supports DOE EM Hanford in a federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.

This role targets candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector experience and functional/technical expertise to support professional services engagements for DOE and DOE EM Hanford Field Office (HFO) clients.

Location:

Pacific Northwest region, primarily Richland, WA. Initial work site address: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520, Richland, WA 99354.

• Public affairs, stakeholder engagement, HAB coordination, briefings, and fact sheets.
• Provide services and support for Program Office 01 (Office of the Manager, Office of the Chief of Staff, Office of Communications, & Chief Counsel) under relevant job task categories.
• Create and manage high-quality visual and written content (presentations, newsletters, website updates) to enhance stakeholder engagement and support HFO programs and events.
• Assist with governance, leadership support, and communications to strengthen accountability and mission success.

Additional role specifics include a focus on Environmental Management sector communications and support services as described by the task category and functional requirements for Hanford Field Office.

Education/Experience

• BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 5–8+ years in communications/public affairs; DOE experience is helpful.

Skills

• Program and project management support in daily business activities; writing, facilitation, event planning, and media tools.

Competencies

• Clarity, diplomacy, active listening.

• Milestone-tied stakeholder briefings; technical communications/content; staffing could vary by ±15% during performance.
• Travel as approved; security clearances as required; on-site work at Hanford Field Office with some remote support as approved.
• Place of performance:
  Hanford Site, Richland, WA; government-furnished resources provided on-site.
