Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA is hiring Respiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner for its Respiratory Therapy Unit. A $20,000 hiring bonus is offered to eligible external candidates.
Requirements – Respiratory Care Practitioner- Graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association is required upon hire
- National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS – American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution
- 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting
- Graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association is required upon hire
- National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS – American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire
- 2 years of Respiratory care practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution
- Recent NICU, adult CCU and open heart experience
Full‑time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours per week), variable shift.
Responsibilities- Perform all treatments and procedures according to provider orders under the direction of the Respiratory Therapy department leadership.
- Provide care in all areas of the medical center, including NICU, Adult ICU, Emergency Department, Birth Center, general medicine, and outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation.
- Assist with the Pulmonary Function Lab (requires additional specialized training).
- Act as a resource to other staff members, providing training or communication of instructions as needed.
- Inspect work to separate acceptable from unacceptable work.
Respiratory Care Practitioner – Min: $36.31, Max: $57.70
Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner – Min: $37.95, Max: $60.22
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
