Responsibilities
Under the direction of the leadership of Respiratory Therapy services, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible to ensure that all treatments and procedures are carried out according to provider orders. The therapist operates within all areas of the medical center and assignments are based on skills and abilities. Care is provided in areas including but not limited to NICU, Adult ICU, Emergency Department, Birth Center and general medicine.
Respiratory Therapists may also work in the outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation area. The Pulmonary Function Lab operates as a separate entity and requires additional specialized training.
Part-time, 16 hours weekly, Day shift.
Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
- Upon hire:
Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License. - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. - Within 90 days of hire:
National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association. - Within 90 days of hire:
National Provider PALS – American Heart Association.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
- 1 year Respiratory Care Practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting.
$34.91 - $54.20
