Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you ready to ditch the high productivity, billing focused grind of many therapy practices and actually use your skills to make a meaningful difference in people's lives?!

Tri Cities Pelvic Health is a boutique, out-of-network practice that emphasizes the patient experience and the providers' work-life balance over all else. We offer 1:1 hour long visits in spacious, relaxing treatment rooms, provide plenty of support through mentorship and collaboration, and a place where you can truly craft the care you know your patients deserve and you love providing.

Providers new to pelvic health or seasoned in the field are encouraged to apply up to $5,000 relocation bonus is available!

Here are some ways we stand out:

  • Hour long, 1:1 sessions for all patients
    - we want you to be able to connect with your patients on a deep level, get to all important aspects of care, and not feel burnt out by taking on too many patients each day
  • Structured mentorship/clinical development program
-whether you are just starting your career, are new to the specialty of pelvic health, or have been working in the niche for years, we believe in lifelong learning and continuing to improve our skillset, confidence, and level of care
  • Collaboration opportunities
-you will be joining a team of 3 other pelvic floor therapists with varied backgrounds and subspecialties. We routinely have "water cooler chats" about patient cases, have the same lunch break to connect, can get a second opinion on tricky cases, and have monthly clinical collectives and quarterly deep dives into topics so that we can all support each other. Plus, we are located within a broader wellness community with other disciplines and a large yoga/event space too!
  • Minimal documentation and no insurance hassles
-The WORST part of the job.. right?! The general expectation is that eval notes take ~5min and follow up notes take ~3minutes each. We think you should spend your time and energy with your patients, not at the computer!
  • Flexible scheduling
    - We want the job to work within the context of your life. Need to take off time for an appointment.. great! Want to get your kids on the bus to school before coming in to work each day.. awesome! We can work together to create a schedule that feels fulfilling and meets the needs in your life. Currently, we are hiring for either a part-time or full time position, so that can be part of the conversation too.
  • Motivated, amazing patients
    - I'm sure you've had the experience of seeing a patient who was only there to check off a box or because the doctor told them to come without any clue why. Our clients are different. They WANT to be here, are so grateful for what you can provide, and are fun! The baby pictures every once in a while don't hurt either!
  • Full-person approach to care
    - We pride ourselves on taking a head to toe approach to care. We don't need to justify why we're working on a person's neck or foot when they're coming in for leakage, nor do we care about spending an entire session talking to the person if that is what they need in that moment! And don't worry, we could care less how to "code" it because we are working for the patient, not the insurance company!
  • Fun, enjoyable environment
    - No depressing hospital rooms or coworker drama here! The space feels more spa-like than anything, we are all here to lean on each other, and we truly believe that if you're going to be spending a large amount of your days/weeks somewhere, we should make it fun!
  • Generous benefits
-PTO/sick leave, unlimited unpaid time off, 401(K) with matching, sign on/relocation bonus, and con ed budget to name a few.

Qualities of an Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a growth mindset and is eager for continued education & mentorship
  • Friendly and positive team member who easily connects with people
  • Commitment to a full-person approach to pelvic floor rehab

Required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the state of Washington
