Overview
Management Trainee role at Yakima Federal Savings & Loan. Gathers knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions under the direction of experienced banking personnel.
Responsibilities- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
- Receives training and performs duties in several departments such as Accounting, Savings Operations, Loan Operations, and Auditing.
- Learns staff functions, operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business.
- Sets performance goals and objectives with upper management.
- Monitors performance progress with management and key trainers.
- Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
- Receives training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.
- Demonstrate support of corporate values, mission and vision. Perform job duties within these standards.
- Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism. Consistently display respect for all areas of diversity and levels of knowledge.
- Display mutual respect, trust and dignity, acting in the best interest of the Association. Lead by example by displaying solid ethics and integrity at all times.
- Four year college degree in finance, accounting or business management, and 2-3 years banking experience.
- Leadership skills

- Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills.
- Strong math and computer skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to relocate within our service area.
- Satisfactory completion of required training/compliance courses.
- Salary range: $46,200-$48,500.

- Sick leave and vacation: 8 hours of sick leave per month; 80 hours of vacation annually after 1 year; vacation accruals increase with years of service.
- Typically Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend hours.
