The Richland Hospital and Clinics is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dedicated care team across our outpatient clinics in Richland Center, Muscoda, and Spring Green. Aboutthe Position
The PA/NP will provide a full spectrum of primary care services to a diverse patient population, collaborating closely with our physicians and clinical team. In addition to outpatient care, the role includes first assist surgical duties under physician supervision, including pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op care. The provider will also participate in patient education, wellness counseling, and chronic disease management.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Provide patient education and counseling on treatment plans, disease prevention, and health maintenance.
- Conduct routine therapeutic procedures such as wound care, suturing, immunizations, and minor office procedures.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians, clinical teams, and specialists for coordinated care delivery.
- Participate in surgical assisting, including tissue retraction, suturing, and intraoperative support.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with licensure and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and standards, including Rural Health Clinic and CMS guidelines.
- Physician Assistant License or Advance Practice Nurse Prescriber License
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant works cooperatively and collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Demonstrates a positive public image towards patients, visitors, and fellow employees through a courteous, respectful and cooperative behavior.
