CNA-PT (Healthcare)
ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE: DAY 6-2, EVE 2-10, NOC 10-6AGeneral Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services according to their assessment and care plan, as directed by your supervisors.
Essential Duties
Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards before administering treatments or serving meals.Use authorized abbreviations when recording information.Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.Report all accidents and incidents observed during your shift.Maintain resident confidentiality and report any violations or unauthorized access to information systems.Perform only those nursing procedures you have been trained to do.Prepare residents' rooms and assist with greeting and orienting residents.Assist residents with personal possessions, transfers, and transportation.Create a warm, calm, and positive environment.Participate in staff meetings and report grievances or complaints.Follow policies on exposure to blood and body fluids.Make beds, assist with meals, and perform routine checks and measurements (temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, height).Check on residents frequently, respond promptly to calls, and assist with daily activities and personal care.Assist with medical tests preparation and physical examinations.Observe and report skin conditions and injuries, especially pressure sores or skin tears.Notify supervisors immediately of any residents leaving or missing from the facility.Use only trained and approved equipment; report any defects.Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and report any suspected abuse or property misappropriation.Respect residents' treatment refusals and report these to your supervisor.Supervisory Requirements
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10th grade education.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents and communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant according to state laws.
- CPR certification preferred.
Physical Demands
Must occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds. Prolonged use of computers. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate. May need to assist in emergency evacuations.

Pay range: $20.50 - $25.63 per hour, depending on experience and education.
