Overview

Pro Sidian Seeks a Senior Radiological Control SME/Auditor Criticality Safety Support [DOE
0040039] for Program Support on an exempt W2:
No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent, generally located across the CONUS - Richland, Washington. Supports DOE EM Hanford in a federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance.

We seek Senior Radiological Control SME/Auditor with relevant Environmental Management sector experience to support professional services engagements for ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SECTOR CLIENTS such as DOE. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) environment within the Environmental Management/ Safety and Health and Quality Assurance functional areas for Hanford Field Office (HFO);
Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time employed W-2 position.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Senior Radiological Control SME/Auditor for General Support Services (GSS) for Hanford Field Office (HFO). Focus areas include Environmental Management, DOE EM EMCBC, and related entities, generally located in the Pacific Northwest (Richland, WA) with potential nationwide reach.

Environment, safety, health, and quality assurance services safeguard compliance, protect workers, and ensure Hanford mission success.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Senior Radiological Control SME/Auditor – support dosimetry analysis, ALARA planning, regulatory compliance, and reporting.
  • Analyze dosimetry, support ALARA planning, ensure compliance, and prepare reports.

The role is located in the Pacific Northwest Region (Richland, WA);
Initial Work Site Address: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520 Richland, WA 99354.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

BS in Health Physics or related field;
Rad Worker qualification. 5–8+ years radiological control experience; DOE experience preferred.

Skills Required

Program and project management support activities aligned with Environment, Safety and Health and Quality Assurance functional areas. Dosimetry, ALARA, survey interpretation.

Competencies

  • Accuracy, risk awareness, communication.

Ancillary Details

  • Maintain ALARA committee data packages.
  • Role comprises senior radiological controls SME/auditor responsibilities; staffing levels may vary by ±15% over performance.
  • Travel as coordinated with the technical POC and approved in writing by the CO, per Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Security: facility clearances required for team members; some work may require DOE clearance per task description.
  • Place of Performance:
    Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, WA; on-site performance with some remotely supported tasks as approved.
  • Government-furnished resources: office space, computers, and software provided; on-site work predominantly at HFO with some on-site travel.
