Position: Lineman (40647)

Job Duties / Scope Of Work

Fully qualified lineman to perform all types of electrical line work involving complex construction and maintenance of outside electrical transmission, distribution and communication circuits, such as hot-line installations, expert troubleshooting, clearance taking, and switching operation. Obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). May direct others.

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess journeyman level certification.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a journeyman lineman.
  • Knowledge of Washington State Electrical Workers' Safety Rules (WAC 296-45).
  • Electrical Utility experience.
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $58.71

To obtain this credential, new employees must successfully complete and pass a federal background check investigation. This investigation encompasses multiple areas of eligibility and includes a declaration of illegal drug activities, including use, supply, possession, or manufacture within the last year.
