How you’ll contribute

A Echocardiology Tech who excels in this role:

• Operates and controls ultrasound equipment, while obtaining good diagnostic quality images and processing studies appropriately.
• Schedules same‑day add‑on exams and works with the scheduling department to schedule exams in the most economical and efficient manner.
• Properly assists, transfers, and immobilizes patients with proper techniques and devices.
• CPR certification is required.
• Interviews patients and reviews orders, obtains patient history, and reviews prior images and reports.
• Assists the cardiologist/radiologist as needed.
• Assists in transporting patients to and from the department as needed.
• Accurately enters charges for exams and supplies.
• May be required to perform other assignments from time to time as requested by the Department Leader.
• Rotates call, holidays, and weekends as needed.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have an associate’s degree and registered RDCS by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registration‑eligible is preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
