A Registrar who excels in this role:

• Directs patients and visitors while promoting positive guest relations.
• Accurately obtains demographic and insurance information, and is responsible for upfront collections.
• Is responsible for the Admission/Registration, Pre-Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers of patients.

What we re looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Associate s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of experience working in a medical/business office setting is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance rules and regulations strongly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is strongly preferred.
