American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring intermediate fetal monitoring certification and float coverage to Nursery and Post-Partum.

• Level 3 OB unit on the 3rd floor with 3 L&D beds, 9 OB beds, 14 Nursery beds, and 3 intermediate nursery beds
• Low volume unit with fewer than 15 deliveries per month
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Float to Nursery and Post-Partum required, including when units are closed due to low census
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Patient ratios per A1 Guidelines
• General OB unit equipment used

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or above, and STABLE for Nursery
• Minimum 1 to 18 months of RN experience required
• OB Labor & Delivery and Nursery care experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided

• Provide nursing care across L&D, Nursery, and Post-Partum as needed
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
