Intermediate Accountant

We’re looking for an Intermediate Accountant who is curious, analytical, and eager to grow. Whether you’re working toward your CPA or building on a strong accounting foundation, this role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting activities while giving you visibility into how a purpose-driven consumer goods business operates.

• Prepare period-end accruals and journal entries
• Complete account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support consolidated financial reporting and variance analysis
• Assist with month-end close processes and ad hoc reporting
• Support interim and annual audit requirements
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate expense coding and financial reporting
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and support cost-saving initiatives

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of Canadian full-cycle accounting experience
• Public practice experience is considered an asset
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query and large data sets
• Power BI experience is considered an asset
• Experience supporting ERP upgrades or process improvement initiatives is an asset

• Hybrid in Richmond, BC
• The base salary will be in the $80,000–$90,000 range + 10% Bonus (and amazing benefits and snacks of course)
