Public Practice bookkeeper

Job Description:

Full-time bookkeeper is required to be responsible for providing accounting services to our small and medium sized clients. Located in our Richmond office, the incumbent must be able to work within a confidential environment, be flexible and adaptable to multiple requirements of the role, ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing month-end reconciliation and filing with government correspondence

Conducting individual & corporate tax filing

Completion of additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

Personal tax filing experience is preferred

Previous experience with Quickbooks desktop or QBO, Profile, taxcycle, Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A self-starter, problem solver and dedicated worker focused on productivity

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Excellent ability to handle multiple projects within tight deadlines

Immediately available, or available to start at a short notice

Ability to work on site for client

Public practice experience is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,500.00-$5,000.00 per month
