Job Description This A/R Administrator manages overdue accounts, follows up on outstanding invoices, and works with customers to guarantee timely payment. The role requires strong communication and problem‑solving skills, and collaborates with Credit, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
Job Duties Manage all aspects of collections for customer accounts.
Accurately follow invoicing instructions per sales and purchase orders.
Submit invoices online through customers’ billing websites.
Contact clients by phone and email to secure timely payment of open invoices and resolve disputes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with payables contacts for each customer.
Research and resolve collection issues, lost payments, and customer account problems.
Coordinate resolution efforts to ensure timely cash collection.
Maintain well‑organized customer files and collection notes.
Achieve assigned targets for cash receipts and reduction of past dues.
Monitor group email inboxes and coordinate with team members to ensure prompt resolution of requests.
Provide excellent customer service to external contacts.
Perform all other essential duties as directed.
Job Qualifications High school diploma required; undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business preferred.
Minimum one year of experience in collections, A/R or credit analysis.
Bilingual in French/English required.
Strong understanding of billing, invoicing, and payment processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data and resolve account issues efficiently.
Compensation Starting base pay range: $28.77 to $30.39 per hour, plus potential annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
