Accounting Assistant

Position: Accounting Assistant at TuGo
Join TuGo as an Accounting Assistant, where you will manage essential A/P and A/R responsibilities. Your analytical skills will drive accurate handling of financial transactions and support our culture of excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for coding invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing cheque runs in conjunction with our team. Good communication and collaboration are key as you work with different teams to identify errors and improve processes. You will also engage in continuous learning to enhance your accounting skills and contribute to our organization’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code and file invoices daily for payment processing

• Reconcile individual A/R accounts regularly

• Prepare cheque runs for claims and suppliers

• Support month-end entries and financial reconciliations

• Communicate issues clearly to enhance operational effectiveness

Requirements:

• Completion of a bookkeeping program or business degree

• Six months of relevant accounting experience

• Strong data entry and organizational skills

• Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
