Accounting Specialist BC

Contribute your expertise as an Accounting Specialist at Nature’s Path Foods. This Intermediate Accountant role focuses on full-cycle accounting for our manufacturing operations in Richmond, BC.

As the Accounting Specialist, you will support various accounting functions, including journal entries, month-end reporting, and cost analysis. Your collaboration with the Operations and Supply Chain teams will drive informed decision-making and enhance financial planning. You will also have opportunities to engage in continuous improvement initiatives and assist with compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support full-cycle accounting for manufacturing activities

• Prepare month-end financial reports and accruals

• Analyze and report on manufacturing variances

• Partner with cross-functional teams for decision-making

• Assist in audit and compliance activities across regions

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA designation is an advantage

• Relevant experience in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods

• Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge

• Strong grasp of costing and inventory accounting
