As a Junior Accountant reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will encompass compliance monitoring with accounting standards, assisting in month-end processes, and preparing accurate financial reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end/year-end processes and reporting packages

• Analyze financial statements and conduct variance analyses

• Collaborate with teams on budgeting and internal audits

• Prepare and file Statistics Canada reports

• Assist in optimizing finance processes and improvements

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or related field, completed or in-progress

• At least two years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS

• Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems

• Experience in capital asset management is a plus
