Manager, Accounting and Reporting

Lead, mentor, and oversee a dedicated team handling core full-cycle accounting activities and corporate payables.

Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, including GL reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis.

Drive global intercompany balance reconciliations and streamline inter-entity accounting workflows.

Handle accounting treatments for complex business transactions, including M&A activities and corporate tax planning.

Evaluate financial and operational performance across multiple diverse business units to identify key operational drivers.

Consolidate divisional financial data into working papers supporting public external reporting and MD&A documentation.

Administer corporate equity and stock ownership programs while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Facilitate internal and external audit deliverables and maintain robust internal control standards.

Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across ERP tools, consolidation workflows, and general accounting systems.

Collaborate on special finance projects and support interdepartmental initiatives as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting combined with a recognized professional designation (CPA or equivalent).

6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a direct team management role.

Strong background owning period-end and quarter-end close cycles, financial reporting, and variance analysis.

Practical experience working with modern ERP systems, financial reporting software, and advanced spreadsheet tools.

Proven track record of evaluating workflows and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and accuracy.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial insight to non-finance stakeholders.

High degree of self-motivation, ethical standards, and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
