About our Client
Our client is an established organization in the Richmond, BC area seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
The successful candidate will receive training on the company’s internal software and will work closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable activities.

Compensation$23–$25/hour
Responsibilities- Assist with day-to-day accounts receivable activities
- Process and maintain accurate financial records and transactions
- Review accounts and identify discrepancies or outstanding items
- Perform data entry and reconciliation as required
- Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports
- Assist with account inquiries and follow up on outstanding balances
- Support the accounting team with administrative and clerical tasks
- Ensure information is entered accurately and maintained in a timely manner
- Use internal accounting software to complete daily tasks
- Identify and communicate discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members
- Perform other related duties as required
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounting, finance, or a related administrative role
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to meeting deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable learning new software and systems
- Experience with accounting software is an asset; training will be provided on the company’s internal system
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
