Senior Staff Accountant

As the Senior Staff Accountant you will work with the managers and partners and be responsible for completing year-end files and tax returns, and delivering high quality services.

Your responsibilities:

• Actively participate in preparing financial statement, Review of Compilation Engagements, Review Engagement and Audit files in an efficient manner with minimal Partner involvement.
• Preparation and review of Corporate and Personal income tax returns.
• Ability to research accounting, auditing and income tax issues
• Excellent customer service skills as this position will require extensive client contact

• CPA designation
• At least 2 year of work experience in public practice as a CPA
• Very proficient in Caseware, Caseview, Profile and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and research skills in accounting.
• Strong communication skills and time management skills.
• Effective communicator both written and verbal.
• Effective - ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
• Accountable – take responsibility of client deadlines and goals; and highly organized and Efficient.
• Highly organized and Efficient.
• Knowledge of US tax is an asset.
