Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Junior Accountant supports month-end close and provides financial insights to the business. This role suits an accounting professional progressing toward a CPA designation. Key work includes journal entries, bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and statutory remittances.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post month-end journal entries
Complete daily bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Analyze monthly results and support variance analysis
Process statutory remittances and supporting documentation
Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements
Requirements:
Two or more years in junior accounting or similar work
Progress toward a CPA designation
Strong Excel and financial data analysis skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
