Process supplier invoices accurately as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Trail Appliances, based at the Richmond Head Office. Use Excel and accounting systems daily.
This Accounts Payable Specialist processes invoices, credit notes, and supplier payments. The position matches purchasing and receiving records, investigates variances, and maintains accurate accounting information. It also supports reconciliations, supplier inquiries, chargebacks, and corporate credit card coding.
Key Responsibilities:- Process supplier invoices and credit notes
- Match invoices with purchasing and receiving records
- Investigate pricing and quantity variances
- Post invoice details, taxes, rebates, and freight
- Reconcile supplier statements and General ledger accounts
- Minimum two years of related accounts payable experience
- Experience processing cheque and EFT payments
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize high volume tasks
