The Junior Accountant plays a key part in supporting Trail Appliances’ accounting team and month-end close process. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role combines journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and discrepancy resolution. It is designed for an accounting professional seeking growth while applying detail-oriented financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Post accrual, prepaid, amortization, and depreciation entries
Perform balance sheet and daily bank reconciliations
Review monthly results and investigate variances
Resolve discrepancies under accounting standards and controls
Support continuous accounting process improvements
Requirements:
Two or more years in a similar accounting role
Progress toward the CPA designation
Strong Excel skills and financial analysis proficiency
Attention to detail in deadline-driven accounting work
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Develop your CPA-track experience through journal entries, variance analysis, reconciliations, and process improvement at Trail Appliances.
