Position: Service Receptionist Mercedes-Benz  BC

Position Overview

Mercedes-Benz Richmond is seeking a professional and organized Service Receptionist to serve as the dealership’s first point of contact. This role manages a multi‑line switchboard, greets and directs visitors, and provides general administrative support including filing, mail handling, and basic clerical tasks. Maintaining a clean, welcoming front desk is essential.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The expected pay for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Switchboard Operator:
    Answer all incoming phone calls in a professional, polite and efficient manner. Places, receives & routes a high volume of calls through a multi‑line switchboard, while supplying information to callers, relaying messages & announcing visitors to internal staff.
  • Administration:
    Assists in overflow tasks from staff including word processing, data entry & internet research tasks. Sort and stuff letters and misc. mailings as required.
  • Filing Clerk:
    Performs basic clerical tasks such as arranging invoices & other indexed documents, cash receipt book revisions.
  • Front Desk Coordinator:
    Serves as the first impression of the dealership & fronts the main desk at point of entry for the purpose of greeting & directing all visitors, including vendors, clients & customers.
  • Maintain the appearance of the reception desk; cleanliness & organization of documents & files is mandatory.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Required
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be extremely organized.
  • Be self‑motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
