We’re looking for an Unlicensed Automotive Service Technician You will be involved in diagnosis, repairs, inspections, and maintenance of customer or company vehicles.
Responsibilities Flexibility in schedule, including Saturday shifts.
Complete general repair services by conducting mechanical inspections and repairs including brake jobs, exhaust system jobs, front end alignments, ball joints, air conditioning, maintenance of auction vehicles, and external referrals for transmission work.
Deliver general maintenance services such as oil and fluid changes, tire changes, general vehicle check‑overs, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
Conduct frame inspections of vehicle undercarriages to confirm no cracks, bends or other damage.
Complete pre and post‑sale inspections, including test drives.
Conduct motor vehicle safety inspections—body, frame, and damage checks, transmission, differential, and overall powertrain checks—completing the required safety checklist.
Perform general shop maintenance, pull vehicles into the shop, and test‑drive vehicles to diagnose repairs required.
Assistance with sourcing parts and providing quotes to customers.
Assist with completing work orders, including parts and labor entries.
Must Haves Certification as an Automotive Service Technician (310S in Ontario) required.
Experience in repair and service of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on a variety of vehicles.
Valid Class5 Driver's License.
Basic computer skills and ability to utilize a smartphone.
Nice to Haves Registered Apprentice (3rd or 4th year) preferred.
License to complete Motor Vehicle Inspections (MVI).
Proven ability as a team player.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with a positive and professional attitude.
Motivated self‑starter able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation Hourly: $24.00–$30.00 (depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors).
