Wales McLelland is seeking a Skilled Labourer to assist in key construction tasks on job sites throughout the Lower Mainland. Join our family-oriented team and support quality delivery.
As a well-established contractor in BC for over 50 years, Wales McLelland values safety, professionalism, and integrity. The Skilled Labourer role is crucial to our construction projects, working directly under the Site Superintendent. Key duties include material handling, structure assembly, and equipment operation, all while adhering to safety protocols and collaborating effectively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Site Superintendent by completing assigned tasks
• Handle loading, unloading, and site cleanup activities
• Assemble or dismantle construction structures
• Operate machinery to facilitate material movement
• Observe and maintain safety standards on-site
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of construction experience
• Proficient with tools, equipment, and safety practices
• Required MEWP, Telehandler, and Skidsteer certifications
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Valid BC Driver’s License is essential
