Fair brothers Formwork Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of construction project coordination experience in concrete formwork construction, though candidates with 5+ years are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Project Support & Tracking:
Assist Project Managers and Site Superintendents with the administrative and operational management of ongoing formwork projects from inception to completion. - Document Control:
Manage, organize, and track critical project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and site instructions. - Scheduling & Coordination:
Support the development and updating of master project schedules, material deliveries, and equipment logistics to ensure site progress stays on track. - Communication Hub:
Act as a central point of contact between on-site crews, Project Managers, General Contractors, engineers, and sub-trades to ensure clear and efficient project alignment. - Cost & Procurement Tracking:
Assist with monitoring project budgets, reviewing subcontractor invoices, tracking material orders, and processing purchase orders. - Quality & Safety Assurance:
Support site safety compliance procedures and assist in coordinating quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) documentation and inspections.
- Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete formwork construction project coordination or management; 5+ years of experience is strongly preferred. - Languages:
Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is strongly preferred. - Industry Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with the British Columbia construction industry, local building codes, and standard contract administration practices. Experience in concrete formwork or structural concrete is a strong asset. - Technical
Skills:
Proficient in standard office applications (Excel, Word). Ability to use Bluebeam is an asset. - Skills:
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Location:
Richmond, BC (with frequent travel to project sites across the Greater Vancouver area).
