Gymboree Play & Music is Seeking: A Part-Time Early Childhood Music Teacher

Gymboree Play & Music offers developmental play, music and art classes for parents and children ages newborn to five. Our programs are created by experts across many areas of child development and complemented by more than 30 years of expertise and leadership in the field. Gymboree Play & Music classes are available in over 528 centers in the United States and in 27 countries world-wide.

At Gymboree, we take a playful and active approach to musical learning. Our aim is to nurture emerging musical expression in young children through a focus on key “Musical Building Blocks” and the exploration of 16 different musical styles. Parents attend all classes with their children as they explore unique songs, play instruments and musical games. Lesson plans and training are provided.

• Pleasant and tuneful singing voice
• Love of singing, music making and teaching
• Group facilitation skills
• Experience working with young children a plus
• Ability to learn songs by ear or through music notation
• Playful and energetic teaching style
• Retail experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
