Customer Service Rep, Customer Success Mgr./ CSM, Client Relationship Manager
Our client in the flexible packaging industry is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Richmond, BC. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative acts as a liaison between Sales and internal and external customers. While working together with the Account Managers and the manufacturing team, the CSR ensures that all orders are booked, produced, and delivered to the customers' expectations every time.
CustomerRelationship Responsibilities
- Communicate with Sales and Customers through telephone, email and customer visits.
- Coordinate order entry (product specs, purchase order#, quantity, price, delivery dates, packaging instructions) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Confirm orders to customers.
- Maintain current price pages.
- Perform secondary review of other CSR's orders/pricing.
- Provide customers with up-to-date inventory reports.
- Pursue the release and billing of aged customer inventory.
- Follow up on customer complaints in a timely fashion, with corrective action if applicable.
- Understand the manufacturing processes and plant capabilities.
- Understand our products.
- Forecast lead times using ordering patterns.
- Keep orders on track.
- Forward information on all changes to Scheduler and production team.
- Follow up on status of orders and trials and communicate to Customer and Sales.
- Book orders as soon as possible so that raw material can be ordered.
- Order Acknowledgements.
- Inventory Reports.
- Monthly Sales Report (forecast).
- Daily Jobs Booked In.
- Customer Scorecards.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- A minimum of three (3) years of Customer Service and Sales experience in the flexographic printing or packaging industry experience is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ERP databases, as well as MS Office programs.
- Ability to learn quickly, and to work with limited supervision but also in a team environment.
- Deadline driven and able to switch tasks with little notice, while maintaining a strong attention for detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of print production issues and manufacturing processes.
