As a Dispatcher Clerk, you play a pivotal role in managing public communications and dispatching services. Your responsibilities include taking calls, creating service requests via Infor Public Sector, and ensuring that staff respond to emergencies outside of regular hours. Monitoring systems like SCADA for vital infrastructure is also part of your duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer public inquiries through multiple communication channels
• Respond to service requests and dispatch necessary teams
• Monitor SCADA systems for critical infrastructure
• Handle after-hours communications and call-outs
• Perform clerical duties, including data entry
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 with dispatch experience preferred
• Willingness to work various shifts, especially midnights
• Strong multitasking and customer service skills
• Knowledge of public works and municipal operations
• Familiarity with IPS or similar software valuable
