Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance and financial services industry, is seeking a Call Centre Billing Representative to join their team.

Job Title:

Billing Representative (Call Center).

Location:

Markham, ON. Pay Range: 19.56 per hour.

Working hours:

Monday-Friday 8 am–8 pm and Saturday 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Rotation shift.

• Handle approximately 50 inbound calls per day, providing professional and empathetic customer service
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies collaboratively with insurance partners and underwriters
• Act as a company ambassador by supporting inbound billing inquiries with clarity and professionalism
• Communicate effectively via telephone and email, ensuring customer issues are resolved efficiently
• Gather relevant information systematically to facilitate seamless customer interactions and follow-up

• 1-2 years of experience in a contact center environment, preferably within insurance or banking industries
• Ability to multitask effectively in a quick-paced setting
• Quick adaptability to evolving work environments and processes
• Professional telephone and email etiquette with strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and various web-based applications
