Job Description & How to Apply Below

Bayview Dental Centre is a well-established Steveston practice offering holistic and biological dentistry alongside full-service general care. We are hiring an Office Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the clinic. You will be the main point of contact between our dentists, our team, our patients and regional leadership, and you will report directly to the Regional Manager.

You do not need previous office manager experience. We want someone who has already been the person the team turns to: the go-to at the front desk, the one who keeps things moving and leads by example.

What you will do
  • Be the main liaison between the dentists, the team, patients and the Regional Manager
  • Lead the front desk and support the whole team day to day, setting the standard
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including insurance and patient balances
  • Manage vendor relationships, supplies and service accounts
  • Oversee the daily schedule, recalls and treatment plan follow-up
  • Handle escalated patient concerns with care and professionalism
  • Report to the Regional Manager on clinic numbers, issues and team updates
What you need
  • Front desk experience in a dental clinic (required)
  • Experience as the main liaison in a dental office, connecting dentists, team and patients
  • Experience leading a team, formally or informally, and being a good example for others
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Experience working with vendors and suppliers
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and calm under pressure
  • Organised, reliable, and someone who follows through
  • Eligible to work in Canada
Strong assets
  • Experience with Tracker practice management software
  • Dental insurance knowledge (CDAnet claims, predeterminations)
  • Interest in holistic or biological dentistry
What we offer
  • Competitive hourly wage
  • Training and support as you step into the manager role
  • Real ownership of the clinic's day-to-day operations
  • A supportive regional team with a direct line to the Regional Manager
  • Dental care
  • On-site parking
Schedule

Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Richmond, BC V7E 0A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
  • How many years of experience do you have in a leadership role?
Experience:
  • Canadian Dental Office: 2 years (required)
