As a Design Manager at Bird, you will report to the Project Director and spearhead the design process from inception to finalization for various projects. Your leadership will cultivate a positive safety culture, promote best practices, and effectively manage the design team to deliver high-quality results. You will be required to travel, work remotely, or relocate to support project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a positive safety culture within the team

• Lead strategy development for Design-Build and P3 projects

• Select and retain consultant teams for design

• Oversee design process and ensure compliance with obligations

• Manage design schedules and budgetary controls

Requirements:

• 10+ years in Construction Management or consulting

• 3+ years as a Design Manager

• Strong technical knowledge in design processes

• Proficient in MS Office and BIM software

• Relevant education in Engineering or Architecture
