As the Design Manager at Bird, you will oversee the design process from start to finish for a variety of projects. This role requires exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills as you work closely with consultants and clients. You must be prepared to travel or work remotely as project demands dictate. Your ability to manage deadlines and ensure quality will contribute to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate a positive safety environment within teams
• Lead design strategies for major projects
• Coordinate with consultant teams throughout design
• Ensure design meets client and regulatory standards
• Manage project budgets and schedules effectively
Requirements:
• 10+ years in Construction Management or consultancy
• At least 3 years as a Design Manager
• Proficiency in design and project management software
• Relevant post-secondary degree in a technical field
• Experience in Long Term Care or Healthcare Facilities is a plus
