Overview Child Psychiatrist (Richmond School Program) with Vancouver Coastal Health. Richmond School Program (RSP) provides assessments and evidence-informed treatments to children in conjunction with families and school-based personnel. RSP colleagues collaborate as a “Working Group” and link with the UBC Faculty of Medicine for educational and research projects.
Responsibilities Have a strong knowledge base in medication management and psychotherapeutic modalities.
Participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of new programs.
Contribute to the training and education of medical students, residents and other allied health professionals.
Collaborate with other community service providers, such as teachers and school counsellors.
Education, Licensing, & Experience Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
Knowledge & Abilities Strong knowledge of child relational/developmental/psychotherapeutic theory and practice.
