Vancouver Coastal Health Psychiatry Position

Become a Psychiatrist with Vancouver Coastal Health, supporting diverse communities in Richmond through a combined approach of community and outreach services. This full-time role is designed for clinicians with a passion for patient care.

As a full-time Psychiatrist, you will join the Richmond Adult Mental Health Team (0.6 FTE) and the Assertive Community Treatment team (0.4 FTE). This unique opportunity involves intensive care for adults facing severe mental illness, collaborating with skilled interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing assessment and treatment for adults with serious mental illnesses

• Collaborate in both clinical and outreach environments

• Engage in psychiatric education for medical students and residents

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Manage participation in the on-call schedule

Requirements:

• Full CPSBC license and CMPA registration

• Fellowship in Psychiatry from a recognized institution

• Eligibility for a clinical appointment at UBC

• Cantonese or Mandarin fluency is advantageous

• Strong focus on collaborative teamwork
