Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a Full-Time Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join its established geriatrics program. This role balances inpatient consultative services with outpatient clinical duties, ensuring comprehensive care for older adults. Opportunities for professional advancement with the UBC Division of Geriatric Medicine are available to qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultative services to inpatients
• Execute outpatient clinical duties at a new facility
• Contribute to the interdisciplinary program effectively
• Participate in developing integrated care models
• Collaborate with team members for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Full CPSBC license and mandatory CMPA membership
• FRCPC certification in Geriatric Medicine
• Fellowship in internal and geriatric medicine completed in Canada
• No on-call duties required
