Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland enables transformational mentoring relationships to inspire, ignite and unleash the power and potential of youth. Big Sisters core mentorship programs offer a safe space for self-identifying girls, non-binary, transgender and gender-diverse youth to work with caring mentors to realize their full potential. It takes just one stable, committed adult in a young person’s life to make a difference.
By matching youth with adult volunteers in quality one-to-one and group mentoring relationships, Big Sisters ensure girls and gender-diverse youth can access the support they need to thrive.

Big Sisters of B.C. Lower Mainland is looking for caring volunteer mentors for our 1:1 Study Buddy program who will support girls and gender-diverse youth (aged 7-17) with an academic role model to improve their school performance and reach educational goals.
