BCIT Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Faculty

Join BCIT as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Faculty member, teaching future aviation professionals at our Aerospace Campus in Richmond, British Columbia. This full-time role emphasizes practical and theoretical instruction.

We are seeking two instructors to engage students in our Aircraft Maintenance Engineer programs. You will teach both Category M and E courses based on established Transport Canada curriculum. Significant experience in the aviation industry and teaching will benefit candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver technical aviation courses

• Evaluate and grade student assignments and practical work

• Enhance and maintain curriculum quality and relevance

• Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff

• Demonstrate expertise in Canadian aviation regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (Category M or

E)

• Five years of experience in the aviation industry

• Strong written and oral communication in English

• Familiarity with learning management systems

• Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset
