Position: Kwantlen Polytechnic University Agriculture Instructor
Join Kwantlen Polytechnic University as an Agriculture Instructor focusing on sustainable practices. This temporary full-time role emphasizes hands-on teaching and curriculum development.

The Sustainable Agriculture Department at KPU seeks a qualified NR2 faculty member. In this position, you will instruct students in Soil Science, Agroecology, and Animal Agriculture, addressing vital topics surrounding our food systems. You will receive support for curriculum development while helping students engage with experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct courses in Agroecology and sustainable production

• Guide students in practical lab and field activities

• Collaborate with faculty on developing course materials

• Cover topics on food systems and climate impact

• Participate in inter-campus travel as necessary

Requirements:

• Master’s degree required;
PhD preferred

• Relevant teaching experience in sustainable fields

• Strong English language skills

• Commitment to equity and social justice

• Availability for occasional campus travel
