KPU's Department of Sustainable Agriculture is hiring an NR2 faculty member for courses starting in August 2026. This position offers various work percentages (75% or 100% FTE), focusing on sustainable production systems, agroecology, and food system dynamics to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct courses on soil science and animal agriculture
• Collaborate actively in course development
• Engage students using classroom and field-based learning
• Address pertinent issues like social justice and climate change
• Facilitate experiential learning through practical labs
Requirements:
• Minimum Master's degree required, PhD preferred
• Proven teaching experience in sustainable agriculture
