This temporary full-time position is for a six-week contract at Pythagoras Academy, where you will assist educators in meeting the unique needs of K-5 students, especially those with special learning requirements. Strong communication and teamwork skills will be vital in your contributions to a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students reach math, reading, and writing goals

• Aid in social skills acquisition among students

• Encourage self-regulation and emotional awareness

• Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student learning

• Help build effective peer relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience with students having special needs

• Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with educational content and methods for younger age groups

• Preferred Education Assistants Certificate

• Must be able to commute to Richmond, BC
