Join the Department of Sustainable Agriculture as an NR2 instructor beginning August 17, 2026. Teach specialized courses in Soil Science and Agroecology, emphasizing student engagement through hands-on methods.
Our department is seeking a qualified faculty member to contribute to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Agriculture. In this role, you will develop course content, enhance student learning experiences, and address pressing issues like climate change and social justice in agriculture. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on innovative educational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop courses in Animal Agriculture and other key areas
• Enhance experiential learning opportunities in diverse environments
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum and program initiatives
• Focus on sustainable agri-food systems and associated challenges
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant field;
PhD is preferred
• Must be fluent in English
• Proven teaching experience and expertise required
• In-depth understanding of sustainable practices and agroecology
