KPU's Department of Sustainable Agriculture seeks a qualified NR2 faculty member to instruct courses on Soil science, Agroecology, and Animal Agriculture.
This role offers a unique chance to educate students about sustainable practices addressing climate challenges while integrating academic theory with real-world applications. Candidates should ideally hold a PhD and have extensive teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging courses on Sustainable Agriculture topics
• Collaborate in course content development with faculty
• Promote experiential learning through diverse teaching methods
• Help shape the future of sustainable food systems education
• Guide students in developing essential skills for agriculture careers
Requirements:
• Master’s degree required;
PhD preferred
• Significant teaching background needed
• Excellent communication in English necessary
• Knowledge of agroecology and sustainable practices desired
