Be a part of our Guitar Workshop at Cambie Community Centre, Richmond, BC, as a Volunteer Assistant. Assist in teaching guitar fundamentals and foster creativity among youth.
We are looking for dedicated individuals to volunteer from June 10 to June 17, 2026. As a Guitar Workshop Assistant, you will play a key role in aiding instructors by teaching essential guitar techniques while engaging youth participants. This experience will enhance your event coordination skills and contribute to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support instructors during guitar teaching sessions
• Direct and greet workshop attendees
• Organize event booths and activity stations
• Prepare and arrange materials for activities
• Ensure all setups are taken down after the event
Requirements:
• Must know basic guitar playing techniques
• Minimum age of 12 years
• Fluent in English
• Ability to arrive independently and on time
• Comfortable in supportive community roles
