Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation is looking for a dedicated Primary Teacher for its Rosie Seymour School in Stswecemc, BC. Teach a small class of 16 students while delivering the BC curriculum and ensuring student success. This role is vital for fostering a positive learning atmosphere tailored to students' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement BC curriculum lessons for K4-3

• Develop individualized instruction and assessment strategies

• Work alongside the Principal on school programming

• Engage in team collaboration for educational development

• Attend professional development workshops through FNSA

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree required

• Hold or be eligible for BC teaching certification

• TQS category or equivalent experience

• Must pass Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks

• Possession of a reliable vehicle and First Aid certification

Inspire and educate young learners in a semi-remote community as a Primary Teacher.
