YMCA Inclusion Coordinator Position

Elevate community inclusivity with YMCA BC as an Inclusion Coordinator. This full-time seasonal role focuses on enriching programming for children and support for diverse needs.

As the Inclusion Coordinator, you will report to the Manager of Support and Inclusion. You’ll actively facilitate socio-emotional programming and ensure developmentally appropriate supports for school-age children. Collaboration is essential in updating inclusion audits while maintaining communication with staff to meet established goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver socio-emotional programming for children

• Provide support and resources for staff in programs

• Conduct environmental and inclusion audits of spaces

• Update inclusion audit tools and documentation

• Maintain inventory of care plans and resources

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years working with children of diverse needs

• University degree in a related field preferred

• Strong communication and writing skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• First Aid Certificate required
