Position: Richmond Early Childhood Educator Assistant Role

This Casual position supports the Early Learning programs within the Developmental Disabilities Association. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will facilitate meaningful interactions between children, catering to both typical and special needs. Participate in on-the-job training while nurturing growth in a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide play-based learning opportunities for children

• Collaborate with management to enhance program delivery

• Encourage interactions among children with diverse learning needs

• Engage families to create community-oriented solutions

• Participate in professional development and training sessions
Requirements:

• BC Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certification or enrolled in ECE Programme

• First Aid/CPR certification is necessary

• Clear Criminal Record and Medical Clearance

• Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification may be required

• Proven English communication skills and basic computer literacy
