Early Childhood Educator

Position: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator Role
Embark on a rewarding career with Developmental Disabilities Association as a Full-Time Early Childhood Educator at the Riverside Child Development Centre, effective September 01, 2026. Your expertise will shape inclusive learning for children with diverse needs.

We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator with completed ECE certification and a minimum of three years working with preschool-aged inclusive groups.

Your role will enhance community programs while fostering interaction among children of varying abilities. On-the-job training and professional development opportunities will further enrich your experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement educational programs for preschoolers

• Facilitate interactions between typical and special needs children

• Collaborate with the Manager to assess children's needs

• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

• Support special needs functional assessments and behavior management

Requirements:

• ECE certification and preferably Special Needs Certification

• Minimum three years of relevant experience

• Criminal and medical clearance

• First Aid/CPR certification

• Strong verbal and written English communication
